The Inlet District Energy Center featured the development of a new central energy center (CEC) and combined heating cooling and power (CHCP) plant at the Revel Hotel and Casino (now Oceans Resort). The CEC and CHCP provided hot water, chilled water, primary electric and emergency power to the facility.

  • DCO was Developer, EPC contractor, and operator and maintainer for the CEC and CHCP project providing hot water, chilled water and electricity to the Revel Casino (now Ocean Resort).
  • CEC and CHP housed in off-site facility and piped via underground piping distribution system to the casino/hotel.
  • Three independent electric power feeders from the local utility routed to serve both the CEC and casino.
  • CEC and CHCP plant capacities:
  • 160 MMBTU/hour Hot Water Boiler Capacity
  • 15,000 Tons of Chilled Water Capacity (electric and absorption chillers)
  • 7.5 MW CHP (Solar Taurus 70) with heat recovery
  • 7.5 MW emergency generation
  • 32 MW electric power
