DCO Energy developed, designed, built, financed, owned and operated the 10.6 MW landfill Gas to Energy Facility. The facility was purchased by Republic, and DCO performed operations and maintenance of the facility on a third-party basis for a period thereafter.
- The landfill gas-to-energy project utilizes landfill gas to reduce dependence on other natural resources and improves air quality and carbon emissions.
- DCO constructed, owned, operated and maintained the project.
- 10.6 MW electric generation at APEX Landfill in Clark County, NV, largest landfill in Nevada
- Major equipment includes two (2) Solar Taurus 60 gas turbines with Selective Catalytic Reduction Equipment, Siloxane Removal System, Gas Compressor System
- Project built for Republic Services, renewable electricity for NV Energy customers (under PPA)
