Profile

Gary Fromer is an experienced leader in sustainability, energy software-as-a-service, solar and distributed energy projects and programs, and enterprise business software and services. Gary leads DCO Energy’s operations and business and project development efforts, and acts as a member of DCO Energy’s Management Committee and an officer of DB Assets, LLC. Gary also served as chairman of Sustaine Inc.

Professional History

Most recently, Gary served as senior vice president of Constellation, an Exelon company, responsible for Constellation's distributed energy portfolio and programs across North America, including on-site solar, cogeneration, distributed generation and energy efficiency deployments and operations. Fromer joined Constellation via Constellation's acquisition of CPower, Inc., one of the leading companies in demand response and energy management, in 2010. As chief executive officer from 2007 to 2010, Fromer lead the growth of CPower from its roots as a New York-based business to an international brand in demand response. Prior to joining CPower, Fromer served as senior vice president of SAP managed services, where he oversaw SAP's hosting, application management and software-as-a-service businesses in the Americas. Fromer also held various other leadership roles over a decade at SAP, including senior vice president, SMB Sales, chief strategy officer for SAP Markets, Inc., and vice president, corporate development.

Civic Involvement

Gary has served as an officer and director for a variety of charitable organizations in his local community of Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania. Gary currently serves as the president of the Jewish Federation of the Lehigh Valley.

Education

Gary earned a bachelor of science in economics (finance) from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, a bachelor of arts in philosophy from the University of Pennsylvania, and a law degree from Columbia University Law School.
