DCO Energy, LLC personnel developed and managed the Venetian
Project from its’ inception. Atlantic-Pacific, Las Vegas, LLC was
a joint venture partnership between Atlantic Thermal Systems and Pacific
Energy (now Sempra). This joint venture was established to provide an
integrated thermal energy production plant and other energy related systems
for the new Venetian Casino Resort.
The contract scope and terms were developed and negotiated by
DCO personnel. DCO personnel managed all construction and development
activities on site and organized and implemented the operation and maintenance
activities. The project was ultimately sold to Sempra.
The $1.2 Billion Venetian Casino Resort, owned by Sheldon Adelson,
successfully operates on the Strip in Las Vegas. The facility consists
of; 3,036 luxury hotel suites; a 116,000 Sq. Ft. gaming complex; 500,000

connected to the 1,200,000 Sq. Ft. existing Sands Expo and Convention
Center, one of the largest facilities in the United States, specifically
designed for trade shows and conventions. The Venetian is the largest
Hotel-Casino complex in the world. The Atlantic-Pacific project scope
included a 15,500 ton chilled water plant, 139 Mmbtu/HR steam for domestic
hot water and heating, 12,250 KW of emergency generation capacity, total
HVAC airside and piping systems, fire protection and a building energy
management control system. Atlantic-Pacific provided financing, construction
management, operations and maintenance for the central energy facility,
and certain energy-related systems for an initial term period of ten years.
