Pedricktown
Cogeneration The Pedricktown Cogeneration Project is located on a site leased from and adjacent to the Geon (B.F. Goodrich) Company plant located in Salem County, New Jersey. The project utilizes proven, gas fired, combined cycle technology to produce steam and electricity. With a guaranteed net design output of 116 MW, the Pedricktown Project has resulted in a 30-year Power Purchase Agreement to sell electricity to Atlantic Electric (Conectiv). The Power Purchase Agreement is a dispatchable contract with minimum payment obligation by Atlantic Electric for a specified capacity and energy. The Pedricktown Cogeneration Project has also resulted in an Energy Services Agreement with the Geon Company. Management is selling steam for a 15-year period. Under the agreement, Geon Company has a minimum purchase obligation for the amount of steam required for the project to maintain its Qualifying Facility (QF) status.
