The Marina Thermal Project

The Marina Thermal Facility is a 26,000 square-foot central utility plant located in Atlantic City's Renaissance Pointe. Owned by Marina Energy and operated by DCO Energy, this Greenfield development project emphasizes the long-term vision of creating, in phases, a District heating and cooling system that will serve anticipated casino expansion within the Renaissance Pointe area.

Parx Casino Central Utility Plant

Parx Casino is the first casino to be located in the Northeast Philadelphia area. The $250 million dollar casino facility is located at Philadelphia Park in Bensalem, PA, and opened in December 2009.

PPB Energy Partners owns and operates the Central Utility Plant under a 15 year agreement with the owners of Parx Casino. PPB Energy Partners is a wholly owned subsidiary of Energenic, a partnership between long-term business partners Marina Energy and DCO Energy.

The Central Utility Plant will provide 3900 tons of chilled water, 1800 BHP of hot water and 5 MW of emergency generation. The facility costs $12.5 million dollars and achieved commercial operation in December 2009.
