Veolia’s central chilled water plant, serving approximately 25 buildings in Trenton, NJ, consists of equipment at its existing generation plant, a chilled water storage tank, and leased equipment in customer buildings.  Veolia hired DCO Energy to provide Engineering, Procurement and Construction (“EPC”) services for the installation of a new 6,000 Ton-Refrigeration chiller plant at their Trenton plant site.  The new chilled water plant building installed on site includes the chillers, cooling towers, pumping and auxiliaries.  New tie-ins of the plant to the chilled water distribution system were made as well.

DCO will provided Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC), Start-up, and Commissioning Support for the new Chiller Plant.  In addition, part of the scope of the work included modifications to the pump house portion of the chilled water storage tank, as well as a number of customer buildings to disconnect the existing leased chiller equipment and tie-ins to the district chilled water system.
