Frederick County, MD Landfill Gas to Energy Project
The Northeast Maryland Waste Disposal Authority has contracted FC Landfill Energy LLC, to design, construct, own, operate and maintain a 2.1MW Landfill Gas to Energy Facility located at the Reich's Ford Road landfill in Frederick County Maryland.
FC Landfill Energy LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Energenic, a partnership between long-term business partners Marina Energy and DCO Energy.
The Project consists of installing the landfill gas collection system in cell area 2 of the landfill, two (2) - Jenbacher J-320 Engine Generator Sets, radiators, gas blower skid, high voltage electrical distribution and switchgear equipment, controls and interconnection piping and wiring.
The system will be interconnected to Allegheny Power and all energy generated will be sold to the PJM Power grid.
