All
system elements within a DCO CHP facility with chilling production
are monitored and controlled by a digital control
system incorporating programmable logic controllers and/or
distributed controllers. The DCO system allows the control
room operator to monitor
and optimize all operations as well as discrete functions of
the facility, including key operational parameters associated
with the chilled water, hot water
or steam systems. This operational feedback is key to maximizing
the overall production capabilities of the facility and to
optimizing system efficiencies.
