A
DCO CHP system can operate parallel to the electric utility
grid or can stand alone, depending on the application.
The unit generates enough electricity to supply all of the
customers’ electric
needs or provides power to cover the base load requirements
only. This system includes equipment to recover waste heat
from the generating system
and converts that heat into useful energy in the form of hot water
or steam.
